With 400 years of utilizing conventions to solve problems in America, we know how they work. We should return to our habit of using them to keep America on the straight and narrow.

Federalism, in the form of state conventions, has operated hundreds of times successfully and in the same way for four centuries whether solving navigation or water resource issues or adding amendments to the Constitution.

The convention process has always been simple, intuitive, safe, and successful. Outcomes have varied, but over 650 recorded events show us that none operated maliciously.

Please find below a short (7-minute) video sampler showing how state representatives of We the People can meet and cooperate in planning major new initiatives for America — in this case a possible Constitutional amendment that would commit Congress to be fiscally responsible.
