“It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.” Samuel Adams

“In the beginning of a change, the PATRIOT is a scarce man, and brave and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it cost nothing to be a PATRIOT.” Mark Twain 1904

“For God the Almighty has made our rulers mad; they actually think they can do-and order their subjects to do-whatever they please. And the subjects make the mistake of believing that they, in turn, are bound to obey their rulers in everything. It has gone so far that the rulers have begun ordering the people to get rid of certain books, and to believe and conform to what the rulers prescribe.” Martin Luther 1523

“Has our culture devolved to the point that private statements of an NBA owner draw more outrage than the lies and deceit of the President of the United States?” Lt. Col. Allen West

“It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.” Mark Twain

“As democracy is perfected, the office of President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people.  On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be occupied by a downright moron.” H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun, July 26, 1920

If law abiding citizens are disarmed, only the criminals and the government will have guns; sounds like anarchy to me.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve given thanks that we don’t get all the government we pay for; unfortunately now, it appears that we might be getting our money’s worth.

George Washington was the only President that didn’t blame the previous administration for his troubles!
