Apollo 13’s explosion enroute to the moon in April, 1970 and their return home safely.
Houston, we have a problem!
America has had a debt explosion!

What debt crisis?
With a large megaphone, a few deny the debt explosion and claim that everything will be okay if we just spend more on it and ignore those state legislatures with their Article V nonsense.
The Apollo experience illustrates that when we put our minds to something important, nothing can stop success.
More and more Americans agree through their voices and polling that the Nation is headed in the wrong direction. On a collision course with something hard, fast!
The American people and their States have the ability to return the Nation to federalism and its republican self-governance as historically utilized hundreds of times in our U.S. history.
We’ve had enough of today’s rebelliousness and demand the States use the safe and legal tools that were used to create the United States in the first place. Listed below is an overview of the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ America has historically reformed itself over the centuries. The six five-minute essays are intended to alert and alarm America of the coming danger and to give them hope and encouragement of a true, legal, and safe solution.
Explore these essays and investigate everything on your own. It’s your country; it’s your decision; be sure.
Reforming America Part I: Introduction
A brief reveal of where the U.S. is today as it struggles under the growing burden of a nation-threatening debt. The solution lies within our reach. But it’s hiding from us in old history books and the actual records that made America. Most of what is believed about this process today is heretical. This series is like looking through a crack in the wall and into a little-known history of consensus building.
Reforming America Part II: Amendment History
The amendment process has a history of changes endorsed by the people. Congress has attempted to propose changes to our Constitution over 12,000 times, 33 times successfully. The States have approved only 27. The States have also requested Congress announce their attempts to propose changes over 600 times. But they’ve been ignored every time. Time for the states to change that.
Reforming America Part III: Convention
The convention was well established prior to the 1786 call for a convention by Virigina “to render the constitution of the federal government adequate to the exigencies of the Union.” The 170-year-old meeting process was then codified into the reformed and renamed Constitution. Since colonies and state meetings were old and understood at the time, there was no need to clarify their operation.
Reforming America Part IV: Drafting a BBA
This essay briefly addresses the two major tasks encountered when addressing a blank piece of paper for composing a balanced budget amendment. One is to address the language and structure of the amendment and is addressed broadly here. The second requires a broader fiscal discussion and are just mentioned briefly here. They will require delegates to determine how to approach the fiscal responsibility rules for debt and deficit spending, revenue and expenditures and their implantation. The issue of growing unfunded liabilities could also be considered.
Reforming America Part V: Ratification
The importance of the primary wording of the proposed amendment is to lead it successfully to ratification and further accounting. The amendment(s) should appeal to over half the people, politicians, state financial managers, and legislators. A return to a Federalist Papers style explanation of the brief amendment message and how it translates into legislation for their protection should be considered. Other Nations experience with implementation of similar tasks should be understood.
Reforming America Part VI: The States
Our States play a critical role in saving and returning the Nation to its founding principles under their authority guaranteed by constitutional federalism ‘toward a more perfect union’.
